Shangjie Toy soft plush animals pose a choking hazard due to small detachable parts including eyes, noses, and decorative pearls that fit within a small parts cylinder. The affected products are four items: a beige plush mouse with a brown hat and bow tie (approximately 25 cm tall, item no. AA-11766), a beige plush bear with a brown hat and bow tie (approximately 25 cm tall, item no. AA-11766), and two beige plush rabbits approximately 50 cm tall with pink or blue scarves and decorations respectively (item no. AA-11768). Additionally, the plastic bags used to package the rabbits are too thin, failing to meet European safety standards for flexible plastic packaging.
These products do not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71. The remedy implemented was that customs authorities rejected the import of these products. The source does not specify what consumers who may have already purchased these items should do.

Bags made of flexible plastics with an opening perimeter greater than 380 mm used for packaging, shall have an average sheet thickness of 0,038 mm or more.The products do not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.
