This electrical decoration resembles a small aquarium and contains a motor and lamp that create a moving scene of tropical fish when powered on. The product poses a fire hazard due to three electrical safety problems: the power cord is improperly connected and could overheat and spark, there is insufficient distance between live electrical parts which could cause a short circuit, and the cord lacks adequate anchoring that could cause connection failures. Two incidents have been reported. The affected models are item numbers 074/319, NSP/010, and 074/324 (barcode 5022896743248).

The product poses a risk of fire because:- the supply cord is poorly terminated which could lead to overheating and arcing;- there is inadequate clearance between live parts of different polarity and a short circuit could occur;- it does not have an adequate means of cord anchorage and the supply cord connections could fail.Two incidents reported.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Inside the casing is a printed “aquarium” scene consisting of various brightly coloured tropical fish on a generally blue background with pictures of aquarium plants. The mains operated product contains a motor and lamp. The motor rotates the “aquarium” scene when the power is turned on.
