Water-based tattoo ink
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Starbrite 2 water-based tattoo inks in Golden Yellow (15 ml) and Baby Blue (30 ml) have been recalled due to microbiological contamination risks. The products come in transparent plastic bottles with plastic nozzles and white labels featuring the Starbrite 2 brand name and a yellow sun logo. Because these are multi-use containers without non-return valves to maintain sterility, there is no guarantee the pigment will remain uncontaminated, which could allow bacteria to enter the skin, tissue, or bloodstream during tattooing.
The recall was initiated by customs authorities who rejected imports of these products. The record does not specify what actions affected consumers should take regarding products they may already possess.

The product poses a microbiological risk because the pigments are multiple-use (15 ml and 30 ml), and the absence of a non-return valve implies that there is no guarantee of preserving the sterility of the pigment, which is necessary in order to avoid possible infection (skin, subcutaneous and general) in the event of microbiological contamination of the pigment itself.
