Trend is recalling certain 1/4" shank plunge routers because over-tightening the collet can cause the armature to fracture, allowing the collet, nut assembly, and cutting tool to break away from the machine during use, creating an injury risk. Two incidents have been reported. The affected models are T5EB-5027654516256, T5EB/EURO-5027654516737, T5EK-5027654135068, T5EK/EURO-5027654514757, T5EK/MK2-5027654527870, T5ELB-5027654516775, and T5ELK-5027654 with serial numbers ranging from 03090001 to 04099999.
