NIJI 'CITY TIME' brand suitcases and briefcases are being recalled because they contain dimethylfumarate (DMF) at levels of 0.5 mg/kg in sachets. Dimethylfumarate is a chemical substance that causes strong skin sensitization on contact and is banned in consumer products under Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.

The recall affects eight different article models (1984, 1985, 767, 1993, 1980, 1982, W-319, and 301-X) in various sizes and styles, including rolling cases with telescopic handles, pilot cases, and briefcases.
