These expanding toy sets contain small plastic snakes or lizards inside eggs that grow significantly larger when placed in water for 72 hours, expanding between 96% and 164% in various dimensions, creating a choking hazard for young children. The snake eggs (EAN 5900700025509) and lizard eggs (EAN 5900700025486) were sold with warning labels indicating age restrictions and choking risks, though the products do not comply with European toy safety standards.

There are two types of eggs containing snake and lizard. Dimensions of eggs are: for snake approximately 59mm X 35,5mm, and for lizard approx. 60 mm X 46 mm. Inside eggs there are snake or lizard made of hard plastic coloured yellow, painted partly wit a green or red and black paint. With the toys there were tags with CE mark, pictogram concerning age 0-3 restriction and caution: “Do not swallow”. On the collective packaging there were above mentioned information and such inscriptions “ Product suitable for children over 3 years and unsuitable for children below 3 years”, “Use only under supervision of an adult”, “Store out of reach of children below 3 years”, “Risk of choking due to small parts”, “Installation and maintains according to drawings on the packaging – if necessary”, “The packaging is not a toy, safe the children, do not let them play with”, “Please keep the packaging for further reference”.
