Famatel four-socket power strips with 1.5-meter extension cables (Model 2514, barcode 8 429760130260) have been recalled due to electric shock hazards. The earthing contacts on the side of the plug are not sufficiently elastic to maintain proper contact pressure, the socket holes lack adequate elasticity to ensure sufficient contact with plug pins, and the product fails to withstand 100-degree temperatures under test conditions. The white plastic power strips are rated for maximum 3000W at 250V and come in blister packaging with wall-mounting instructions.
