A child's toy mobile phone branded with "Power Rangers" and "Dino Thunder" characters has been recalled because it produces sounds that are too loud for a toy designed to be held near a child's ear. The product emits sound at 99.8 decibels of acoustic pressure, which exceeds the maximum permitted level of 80 decibels set by European toy safety standards. The toy is a yellow and red plastic phone with white buttons, a transparent plastic antenna, and a yellow hanging cord, powered by two 1.5-volt button batteries. This product is counterfeit and does not comply with European toy safety regulations.
