What happened

DMF is a substance that causes skin irritation and sensitization and is not authorized for use as a biocide. The boots come in a black cardboard box and include five paper sachets of various types: two marked as desiccant silica gel, two marked as desiccant biochemical dry agent, and one marked as a mold-proof agent. One incident related to this hazard has been reported. The product originated in Spain.

According to the recall record, authorities have ordered the product withdrawn from the market. However, the source does not specify what affected consumers should do regarding boots they may already own.
