  • Brand Spunky police

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

This recall involves plastic toy police sets sold under the brand names "Spunky Police" and "Superior Police" (model references 4193 and 4194). The sets contain multiple plastic items including a dartboard with suction pad arrows, a toy pistol, grenades, handcuffs, a compass, police badge, and earphones. The products were packaged in plastic blister packs with cardboard backing and labeled as complying with Standard EN-71 and the CE mark, though they do not actually comply with the Toys Directive.

The hazard is that the suction pads detach very easily, posing a suffocation risk that could cause asphyxia. The products were manufactured in China and the recall was reported by Spain. The remedy involved rejecting the products at customs, preventing their importation. The source does not specify what action affected consumers who may already possess this product should take.
