A stuffed soft toy worm made by Dony poses safety hazards because its hard plastic eyes can detach easily and become choking hazards, and the toy's styrofoam filling can be pulled out and inhaled. The toy does not meet European safety standards for toys and has been ordered off the market by authorities. The product poses a risk of choking, suffocation and injuries because the hard plastic piece (one eye) can be easily detached and a shell hole opened. Moreover the styrofoarm filling, which fits entirely into the small parts cylinder, can be made accessible.The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.
