What happened

These decorative lighting chains with plastic frames shaped like stars, hearts, balls, Santa Claus figures, and snowmen containing between 35 and 132 incandescent lamps have been recalled due to serious safety defects. The electrical conductors are undersized, the insulation is poor quality, and the plug construction does not meet standards. Additionally, the plastic lamp holders lack sufficient fire resistance and may cause fires. These products do not comply with European electrical safety directives and standards.

Hazard

The cross section area of the conductor is less than required, the insulation is of poor quality and the construction of the plug is non-standardized.
