Grass Trimmers

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

American Honda is recalling the HHT35SUKAT grass trimmer because the shaft can crack, causing the lower gear case and cutting attachment to detach from the unit. This detachment poses a laceration hazard to the operator and bystanders. The recalled trimmers are gas-powered with a red engine housing, the word "Honda" printed on the top front, and a bicycle handlebar-style grip. Affected units have serial numbers between HAHA-1000001 and HAHA-1017345, which can be found on the top side of the shaft below the handlebars.

If you own one of these trimmers, you should immediately stop using it and contact the nearest Honda Power Equipment dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.
