What happened

Elegant Gifts Mart has recalled children's folding chairs and stools due to excessive lead content in the yellow paint on their metal frames, which violates federal law. The affected products feature plastic seats and backs decorated with cartoon imagery including monkeys, teddy bears, mushrooms, and heart-shaped balloons, with "PENGKO" printed on the chair's seatback. The chairs are identified by item number JCA8036 and the stools by item number JCA8037, both marked on white stickers underneath.

Consumers who own these recalled products should immediately remove them from children's access and return them to any 1 to Seven store in Puerto Rico or contact Elegant Gifts Mart directly for a full refund.
