Target is recalling Circo brand children's travel cases because the surface coating contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard. The recalled cases are 17-inch models in both girls' and boys' versions. The girls' cases come in pink or teal with heart, butterfly, or daisy patterns and a plush butterfly on the zipper pull, while the boys' cases are red or blue with jet plane patterns and a plush jet plane on the zipper pull. The affected products have UPC numbers 618842135844 (girls') and 618842135868 (boys'), with date codes beginning with 01/11 through 08/11, which can be found on the round Circo hang tag or on the white tag inside the main zippered compartment.

The Circo brand label is found on the fabric handle attached to the top of the travel case. The girls' version has a heart/butterfly/daisy pattern on either a pink or teal background with a plush butterfly attached to the zipper pull. The boys' version has a pattern of three jet planes in red/blue/green on a red or blue airplane-patterned background with a blue plush jet plane attached to the zipper pull.
