Ninebot Children's Bicycle Helmets
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Segway is recalling Ninebot Kids bike helmets in orange/white that are size extra-small (XS), fitting head circumferences from about 19½ to 21½ inches. The helmets do not meet U.S. CPSC federal safety standards for positional stability and retention systems, which means they can fail to protect children's heads in a crash and pose a risk of head injury. Only helmets with the specific batch code SN4500056024 dated August 2020 are affected. You can identify these helmets by the "Ninebot" text printed on the sides and model number "NB-410" printed on a label inside the helmet.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and return them to Segway for a full refund. Segway is contacting all known purchasers and will provide prepaid postage to facilitate the return process.
