What happened

Welmate Lidocaine Numbing Cream in 113 g white jars with a blue, orange and green label is being recalled because its packaging does not meet child resistant packaging requirements under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The cream contains lidocaine, which can poison young children if they get it on their skin or swallow it. The recall applies to specific lot numbers (ELNC2001, ELNC2002, EL5C2001, EL5C2002, EL5C2101, and EL5C2102) with various expiration dates ranging from May 2022 to November 2022.

"Welmate," "5% Lidocaine," the Welmate logo and UPC code 373581105045 or 373581000012 are printed on the label.
