Rocky Mountain Oils is recalling Wintergreen essential oil and four oil blends (Pain Ease, Sports Pro, True Blue, and Relieve Me) sold in 15 mL amber glass bottles because the packaging does not meet child-resistant requirements mandated by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. These products contain methyl salicylate and pose a poisoning risk if swallowed by young children due to the non-resistant caps. The recalled products come in black-capped bottles with the product name and Rocky Mountain Oils logo on the front label, and affected lot codes are identified on the bottom of the bottle.
Consumers who own these products should immediately stop using them and store the bottles in a safe location out of reach of children. Affected consumers should contact Rocky Mountain Oils for a free replacement lid, as the company is directly contacting all purchasers of the recalled products.
