What happened

Continuum is recalling Lenox-branded 2.5 Quart Whistling Stainless Steel Tea Kettles with a three-layered bottom because the kettles can expel hot water during use, which poses a burn hazard. The recalled kettles were sold in multiple colors including blue, red, silver, and gold, and are identifiable by their stainless steel flat bottom measuring approximately 7 inches in diameter with a bent edge extending approximately 1 inch beyond the flat portion. The Lenox brand name is printed on the sides and bottom of the kettle.

Consumers who own a recalled kettle should immediately stop using it and contact Continuum for a refund. Those with proof of purchase will receive a full refund, while consumers without proof of purchase will receive a refund of $29.99.
