What happened

Contigo is recalling approximately 5.7 million Kids Cleanable water bottles because the clear silicone spout can detach, creating a choking hazard for children. The recalled bottles are identifiable by their black spout base and spout cover and feature the Contigo name printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom. The bottles were sold in three sizes (13-ounce, 14-ounce, and 20-ounce) and four color options (solid color, graphics, stainless steel, and stainless steel solid colors), either individually or in multi-packs.

Only black color spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall. Contigo is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle.
