What happened

Provata Health is recalling promotional activity tracker wristbands that were distributed as giveaways. The wristbands, which come in black, blue, or mint green and feature a digital display, charging terminal, heart rate and step detector with Bluetooth technology, can overheat while being worn or charged, creating a burn hazard to consumers.
