ACE work boots
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Shoes for Crews is recalling two styles of ACE work boots because they were advertised as puncture-resistant but were not actually manufactured with the puncture-resistant plate required to provide that protection. The recalled boots are the ACE Zeus work boots (style #76054) in men's sizes 7-11.5, 12, 13, and 14, and the ACE Republic work boots (style #77667) in men's sizes 4.5-11.5, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. Both styles are black with labels identifying them as "ACE Work Boots," and the Republic model also displays "Waterproof" labeling. The missing safety component creates an injury hazard for users who relied on the advertised puncture-resistant protection.
Consumers who own the recalled boots should immediately stop using them and contact Shoes for Crews for instructions on how to receive a full refund. The company is contacting all known purchasers directly.
