Matrix Fireworks is recalling Jumbo Fireworks "Surprise Fountain" products due to a federal safety violation. The recalled fireworks, identified by product code JFG4279 on the front panel, are overloaded with pyrotechnic material designed to produce an audible effect. These small red cylinder devices, measuring 3 inches tall by about 1 inch wide, function similarly to illegal firecrackers rather than as labeled fountains, creating a risk of unexpectedly severe explosions and burns.
Consumers who have purchased these fireworks should not use them. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
