Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Herman Miller is recalling Eames-branded molded fiberglass armchair rockers with model numbers beginning with RFAR. These rockers, which were sold in various shell colors and frame finishes with or without upholstery, have a defect where the rocker's base can separate from the seat, creating a fall hazard. The recalled rockers were manufactured between May 1, 2013 and September 8, 2017. The upholstered versions measure approximately 25.25 by 25.5 by 27 inches, while non-upholstered versions measure about 25 by 25.5 by 27 inches.
To identify a recalled rocker, consumers should check the underside of the seat for a label showing the manufacture date in MM/DD/YYYY format and the model number, as well as Herman Miller, Eames Office, and Eames signature logos molded into the seat. According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately stop using the rockers and contact Herman Miller to return the product for a full refund at no cost.
