Girls' hooded sweatshirts
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
RDG Global has recalled girls' hooded sweatshirts sold exclusively at Nordstrom because the drawstrings in the hood pose a strangulation hazard to children. The drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors, or other moving objects. The affected sweatshirts are olive green, made of polyester and spandex with a sherpa-lined hood and an asymmetric front zipper, sold in girls' sizes S (6-7), M (8-10), and L (12).
The sweatshirts can be identified by a blue size label reading "Freshman 1996" and "Made in China" at the center back neck, a label in the neck seam with "RDG Global LLC," "VB740," and "8K80375N," and a label in the side seam with care instructions and "RN# 146919." Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the garment to eliminate the hazard or contact RDG Global or Nordstrom for a full refund.
