Target is recalling Threshold Aluminum Top/Steel X Base patio benches because they can collapse while in use, creating a fall hazard. The benches were sold both individually and as part of six-piece dining sets in multiple colors including Turquoise, Seafoam, Orange, Green, Navy, and Tan. The benches measure 56.875 inches long by 17.625 inches wide by 18 inches tall, and consumers can identify their product using the model number found on the assembly instructions or packaging.
According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the benches and return them to any Target store for a full refund. Customers who purchased the benches as part of a set can continue using the table and four chairs included in the set and will receive a refund for only the bench portion of their purchase. Those who bought individual benches will be refunded the full purchase price.
