What happened

Human Touch is recalling certain Perfect Chair model PC-610 reclining chairs due to a hazard with the joystick reclining mechanism. The joystick can malfunction and cause the chair to continue moving unexpectedly, which poses a fall risk to users. The recalled chairs have serial numbers between B613315034 and B614215154 and were sold with walnut, dark walnut, or chestnut wood finish bases and leather pad sets in 33 different colors. The chair measures approximately 43 inches long, 31 inches wide, and 47 inches high, with a head pillow and joystick controller on the left armrest. Consumers can identify the model and serial number on the cross bar connecting the rear legs.

According to the recall, affected consumers should stop using the chairs immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund. Alternatively, consumers can contact Human Touch to receive a free repair kit (including shipping) or to arrange for a free repair.
