Polaris is recalling all model year 2016 RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP 4 Turbo recreational off-highway vehicles due to a fire hazard. The engines can overheat and the turbo system's drain tube can loosen, which poses a risk of fire and severe burn injuries. The recalled vehicles were sold in blue, gray, orange, and red colors and feature either two or four seats with a rear box.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Polaris to schedule a free repair. Upon repair, consumers will receive an extended warranty on their repaired RZR Turbo and a discount toward the purchase of a new vehicle. "RZR" is printed on the rear box or on the right and left rear fenders and "Turbo" on the hood or on the right and left front fenders. "Polaris" is stamped onto the front grill.
