Luminosities/Windflame is recalling OZOfire™ pourable gel fuel sold in one-quart clear plastic bottles because the fuel can ignite unexpectedly and splatter when poured into firepots that are still burning. This can happen if consumers don't notice a flame is still present in the firepot. When the fuel splatters and ignites, it can cause fires and severe burns to people nearby, potentially resulting in fatal injuries.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using this pourable gel fuel in firepots and return all bottles to the retailer where they purchased the fuel to receive a full refund.

The pourable gel fuel can ignite unexpectedly and splatter onto people and objects nearby when it is poured into a firepot that is still burning. This hazard can occur if the consumer does not see the flame or is not aware that the firepot is still ignited. Gel fuel that splatters and ignites can pose fire and burn risks to consumers that can be fatal.
Consumers should immediately stop using the pourable gel fuel in firepots and return all bottles to the retailer where the consumer purchased the fuel for a full refund.
The recall involves pourable OZOfire™ pourable gel fuel packaged in clear one-quart plastic bottles. The gel fuel does not have citronella. The label on the container include the words "OZOfire™," "Fuel Barons Inc.," "Formula 4," and "Pure Bio-Ethanol Fuel Pourable Gel." The fuel is poured into a stainless steel cup in the center of ceramic firepots or other decorative lighting devices and ignited.
