Edushape is recalling Mini Stars building sets because plastic knobs can break off the center of the stars, creating a choking hazard for young children. The recalled sets contain three-inch diameter stars made of opaque plastic in red, green, yellow, or blue. Each star has six circular knobs protruding from a ring-shaped center. The sets were sold in quantities of 12, 24, 36, 48, and 72 pieces and do not have any markings, codes, or logos stamped into the plastic.

Consumers who have the recalled Mini Stars building sets should immediately remove them from children's reach and contact Edushape. According to the recall notice, affected consumers can receive either a free replacement set or credit toward another Edushape product of equal or lesser value.
