What happened

Fleetwood EXIM Inc. is recalling disposable cigarette lighters because their child-resistant mechanisms do not work properly. The recalled lighters are oval tube-shaped with a roll and press ignition mechanism and come in blue, orange, red, or clear transparent cases. They feature a chrome metal windshield around the flame port with "youjie" stamped on the side and a warning label stating "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN" and "MADE IN CHINA." Young children could ignite these lighters, creating fire and burn hazards.

Consumers who have purchased these lighters should stop using them immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
