What happened

Turtle Beach is recalling 2015 Ear Force XO FOUR Stealth gaming headsets because mold spores have been found on the products, which could cause respiratory or other infections in people with chronic health problems. The recalled headsets are black with green trim, feature soft ear-cups, an audio controller, and a removable microphone. They were marketed for use with Xbox One systems and come with an audio adapter. Recalled units can be identified by a 13-character serial number on the inside of the headband and bottom flap of the box that includes C16 through C25, and by the absence of a green dot under the microphone windscreen.

Consumers who have a recalled headset should immediately place it into a plastic bag along with the original box and any components, seal the bag closed, and contact Turtle Beach for return instructions. Turtle Beach will provide a free replacement gaming headset.
