Cassin Blade Runner and Blade Runner Alpine Crampons
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
CAMP USA is recalling all Cassin Blade Runner and Blade Runner Alpine crampons due to a defect in the front section where the points connect to the crampon. The front part can break during use, which creates a fall hazard for climbers. These crampons are used for ice climbing and attach to footwear to allow the front points to cut into snow or ice. The Blade Runner model has two ice front points while the Blade Runner Alpine model has two snow front points. You can identify recalled crampons by the "Sandvik Nanoflex" label on the gray nylon ankle strap and "Cassin" and "Blade Runner" markings stamped on the orange traction plate on the foot of the crampon.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using the recalled crampons and contact CAMP USA for instructions on how to receive free replacement parts.
