Yamaha is recalling five 2015 model-year golf cars and personal transportation vehicles (PTVs) and one 2016 model-year vehicle due to a defect in the front wheel hubs. The front wheel hubs can crack, which may cause the front wheels to detach from the vehicle. This detachment poses a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or a bystander. The recalled 2015 models include "The DRIVE PTV," "The DRIVE EFI," "Adventurer One," "The DRIVE," and "The DRIVE Electric." The recalled 2016 model is "The DRIVE A.C." The vehicles were sold in blue, green, red, white, tan, and silver and can be identified by the Yamaha logo on the front. The serial number can be found on a label under the driver's seat.
