Oscar Mayer Wienermobile pedal cars
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Oscar Mayer is recalling approximately 16,000 Wienermobile pedal cars because the decals on these orange and yellow vehicles contain high levels of lead. The hot dog-shaped pedal cars, which measure about 46 inches long and are intended for children ages 3 to 7, have decals located on the front, back, sides, and interior panels. High levels of lead present a poisoning hazard to young children if the decals are ingested. Oscar Mayer has not received reports of any illnesses or injuries related to this product. The pedal cars were distributed through grocery store promotions and mail order sales in the U.S. and Canada between June 1995 and May 1998.
Consumers should immediately stop children from playing with the recalled pedal cars. According to the record, affected consumers should call (800) 323-0768 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CDT Monday through Friday to receive instructions on obtaining replacement decals.
