What happened

Little Tikes has recalled several children's toy workshop sets and trucks sold between 1994 and 2009 due to choking hazards posed by oversized plastic toy nails included with these products. The recalled nails are approximately 3 inches long by 1 inch in diameter, come in red or blue, and feature a large round head with a plastic ridge below it. The recall affects five product models: the Electronic Project Workshop (sold March 1994–December 2003), Little HandiWorker Workhorse (March 1999–June 2009), Home Improvements 2-Sided Workshop (February 2001–January 2009), Swirlin' Sawdust Workshop (April 2004–November 2008), and Black Pickup Truck with Tools (March 2000–April 2009).

Consumers who have these products should immediately remove the toy nails from young children's access. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should contact Little Tikes for a free replacement toy nail.
