What happened

QuinCrafts has recalled several children's jewelry sets because the clasps on some items contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. The recalled products include specific Makit & Bakit jewelry sets and Disney Makit & Bakit charm bracelets, identifiable by item numbers printed on the back of the packaging: 55256, 41671, 55106, 55100, 43131, 50083, and 50694. These sets contained various combinations of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings.

According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the recalled jewelry from young children's access and contact QuinCrafts for a replacement jewelry set.
