Billy Goat Industries Inc. is recalling certain outdoor vacuums with Honda engines because the fuel tank can crack and leak gasoline. If the leaking fuel ignites, it can cause a fire or explosion, creating a fire and burn hazard.
The recall affects black and green vacuums with red motor housings and "Billy Goat" printed on the bag, specifically models MV650H and MV650SPH with serial numbers between 061107xxx and 091007xxx (printed on a label below the height adjustment crank on the left side). Consumers with recalled vacuums should stop using them immediately and contact any Billy Goat or Honda Lawn and Garden dealer for a free fuel tank replacement. Registered owners will receive a notice in the mail.

The vacuum's fuel tank could crack and leak fuel. If gasoline leaking from the fuel tank is ignited, a fire or explosion can occur. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled outdoor vacuums and contact any Billy Goat or Honda Lawn and Garden dealer for a free fuel tank replacement. Registered owners of the recalled vacuums will be mailed a notice.
The recalled outdoor vacuum is black and green with a red motor housing. "Billy Goat" is printed on the vacuum's bag. Only outdoor vacuums with the following model and serial numbers are included in the recall. The model and serial numbers are printed on a label located directly below the height adjustment crank on the left side of the vacuum.
