What happened

Jo-Ann Stores is recalling the Robbie Ducky Garden Collection children's toy gardening tools because the surface paint on the handles contains excessive levels of lead, which violates federal lead paint standards. The recalled collection includes a leaf rake with a yellow handle and tortoise head with green prongs, a hoe with an orange handle and caterpillar design with blue blade, a broom with a purple handle and duck design with orange brush, and a spade with a yellow handle and frog head with red blade. All tools are between 27 and 29 inches long and have a "Robbie Ducky™ Garden Collection" tag on the handle.

Consumers who have purchased these toys should immediately remove them from children and return them to any Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store for a full refund.
