Basic Editions brand Girls' Clothing Sets
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Kmart has recalled Basic Editions brand girls' clothing sets due to drawstrings located at the waist. The hazard is that children can become entangled or caught in the drawstrings, potentially getting caught in vehicle doors and being dragged, which poses a serious risk of injury or death. Two sets are affected: one with a light green "Varsity Club Winning Attitude" top over a white shirt paired with turquoise cuff shorts, and another with an orange "Paradise University Girls Club" top over a white shirt paired with light green knit shorts. Both sets were sold in sizes 4/5, 6/6X, 7/8, and 10/12.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the affected clothing to eliminate the hazard.
