Chuck E. Cheese's is recalling Light-Up Rings and Star Glasses due to a hazard that batteries inside these products may be exposed if the plastic casings are crushed or pulled apart. If the small pieces or exposed batteries are swallowed by children, they can cause damage to the stomach, intestines, esophagus, or nasal membranes. The Light-Up Rings were distributed as promotional items or at parent-teacher association conventions and come in blue, green, purple, yellow, and pink colors, measuring 1 1/8 inches across with a black elastic band. The Star Glasses were part of birthday packages and are red translucent plastic measuring about 5 1/2 inches across by 2 1/2 inches tall with Chuck E. Cheese's printed on the side.
Consumers should immediately remove these items from children and return them to any Chuck E. Cheese's location. For the Light-Up Rings, consumers can receive either a $1.00 refund plus four Chuck E. Cheese's tokens or a Soccer Promo-Cup plus four tokens. For the Star Glasses, consumers can receive either a refund of $4.99 or a Flashing Hands prize product.

Cheese's tokens or a Soccer Promo-Cup plus four Chuck E. Cheese's tokens. Star Glasses - Consumers should immediately take the Star Glasses away from children and return them to any Chuck E. Cheese's for your choice of either a refund of $4.99 or a Flashing Hands prize product.
