The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and retailers have announced a recall of Vapor-Eze brand waterless vaporizers and aromatherapy diffusers due to a defective internal heater that can cause sparking and emit flames during use. This defect creates fire, burn, and shock hazards to consumers. The recalled vaporizers are white plastic units measuring 5 inches wide by 3½ inches high with "Vapor-Eze" and "Waterless Vaporizer" printed on top, while the aromatherapy diffusers are ivory plastic with the same dimensions and have "Vapor-Eze" and "Aromatic Therapy" printed on top. Both types have model numbers 1070, 2070, or 3070 and "Juv. Prod's. Corp" printed on the bottom, with UPC codes 015715910701, 015715010008, 000157159104, or 0157150010145 on the packaging.
Consumers who own these recalled products should stop using them immediately and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
