Travel Lite Swing
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Graco is recalling Travel Lite portable swings due to two safety hazards. The swing's carrying handle can fail to stay in place and drop or be pushed down, potentially hitting a child in the head. Additionally, the 3-point seatbelt (waist belt and crotch strap only) can fail to prevent a child from leaning forward or to either side, creating a risk that the child could fall forward and strike his or her head on the floor or the swing's frame.
The recalled swings are model numbers 1850JJP, 1850JGB, and 1870DAL, manufactured between May 2003 and December 11, 2003, with serial numbers between 050503 and 121103. These portable swings have an adjustable reclining seat, rotating handle, and canopy, with buttons on the handle for lights and music, and multicolored sun, moon, and stars designs on the underside. Consumers who own a Travel Lite swing with a 3-point seatbelt or without a red handle release button should stop using it immediately and contact Graco for a free repair kit. The model and serial numbers can be found on a white label underneath the seat.
