1997 and 1998 Yamaha "350 Electric" ATVs
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. and the CPSC have announced a recall of 1997 and 1998 model year Yamaha Warrior ATVs marked with "350 Electric" on both sides of the bodywork. These ATVs come in red and white or gray and blue colors. The recall affects specific vehicle identification number (VIN) ranges, which are stamped into the vehicle frames between the front and rear wheels. A weld on the mounting bracket of the rear hub can come loose, which could cause rear brake failure and potentially injure operators.
Consumers who own recalled ATVs should stop using them immediately and contact their local Yamaha ATV dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair appointment if needed. Yamaha Motor Corporation is notifying registered owners of these vehicles directly.
