Gibbs Sports Amphibians is recalling Quadski and Quadski XL amphibious vehicles because the handlebar can fail during operation, causing the operator to lose control of steering and braking and risking injury. The recall affects one-seater Quadski models with HIN numbers ranging from US-GSA601J213 through US-GSAJ1048C414 and two-seater Quadski XL models with HIN numbers ranging from US-GSAJ5001J213 through US-GSAM5203H415. HIN numbers can be found on a plate located on the right rear corner of the vehicle.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact an authorized dealer for a repair at no cost.

This recall includes Gibbs' Quadski which is a one-seater and Quadski XL which is a two-seater. The products are high speed amphibious vehicles that are an ATV on land, and also operate on water. The recalled vehicles have HIN numbers ranging from US-GSA601J213 though US-GSAJ1048C414 on Quadski and US-GSAJ5001J213 though US-GSAM5203H415 on Quadski XL. HIN numbers are printed on a plate located on the right rear corner of the vehicle. Brand and model names are printed on the back panel and on the side of the vehicle.
