Great Innovations is recalling Air Innovations branded Ultrasonic Clean Mist humidifiers with mood lights due to a fire hazard. The recalled models are 15 inches high, hold one gallon, and come in black, silver, red, or blue. These humidifiers have model number MH-407 and date codes MX1342, MX1343, MX1344, MX1345, or MX1346 printed on the underside. They were sold exclusively by QVC under item number V32459. The hazard occurs when water enters the base and causes the circuit board to short circuit and overheat.
If you own a recalled humidifier, you should immediately stop using it and unplug it. Contact Great Innovations for a repair kit. Great Innovations is also contacting known consumers directly by mail regarding this recall.

This recall involves Air Innovations branded Ultrasonic Clean Mist humidifiers with mood lights. Model number MH-407 and date code MX1342, MX1343, MX1344, MX1344, MX1345 or MX1346 are printed on a label affixed to the underside of the humidifier. The recalled humidifiers are 15 inches high and were sold in four colors: black, silver, red and blue. A mood light button and the words "Air Innovations" are on the front of the one-gallon humidifiers. QVC item number V32459 is printed on the packing slip shipped with the humidifier.
