What happened

Liberty Apparel is recalling Jewel brand girls' hooded sweatshirts with style number J2184SK due to a strangulation hazard posed by the drawstring threaded through the hood. The sweatshirts were sold in red or white with small gold and silver hearts and arrows printed on them, in children's sizes small through extra-large or sizes 4 through 16. The style number appears on an inside seam tag, and "Jewel" is printed on the neck tag.

To address this hazard, consumers should either remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts or return the garment to the place of purchase or to Liberty Apparel Company for a full refund.
