What happened

Misty Mate is recalling 2.5-ounce hand-held personal misters sold exclusively at Hibbet Sports. The devices, which are approximately 8 inches tall with a clear plastic water cylinder, blue base and top, and nylon carrying strap, can shatter during use and pose a risk of laceration to consumers. The cylinder measures between 1.25 and 1.5 inches in diameter and has a horizontal line with the word "fill" printed on it.

Consumers who own a recalled Misty Mate personal mister should immediately stop using it and return it to Misty Mate for a refund.
