Kubota has recalled orange-colored ZG100 Series Zero Turn riding mowers with specific model and serial numbers. The fuel tank's pressure relief valve can malfunction, causing the tank to expand and rub against the transmission drive belt and cooling fan. This friction can wear a hole in the fuel tank, leading to fuel leaks that pose a fire hazard. The recalled models are ZG124E (serial numbers 10002-12179), ZG123S (serial numbers 10002-12505), ZG127E (serial numbers 10002-11574), and ZG127S (serial numbers 10003-12959).
Consumers who own a recalled mower should immediately stop using it and contact Kubota for a free repair. Kubota is contacting affected customers directly. You can verify whether your mower is affected by checking the model and serial number printed on the data plate located on the left part of the frame near the operator's foot area.

Kubota is printed on the front of the mower and on the side. The model and serial numbers are printed on the data plate on the left part of the frame near the operator's foot area.
