Be Amazing! Toys is recalling Monster Science Growing Spider toy sets, model number 7280. Each set contains one polymer spider and three marble-sized polymer balls called "spider eggs" that can absorb 300 to 800 times their weight in water and grow up to eight times their original size. The toys are soft and colorful and can be mistaken by children for candy. The packaging displays the Be Amazing! Toys star logo, product name, "Ages 8+," and growth instructions, with warnings about adult supervision on both the front and back.
If a child ingests one of these toys, it can expand inside the body and cause intestinal obstructions, resulting in severe discomfort, vomiting, dehydration, and potentially life-threatening conditions.
